Characters marked as 'owned by Venial' are characters that are owned by Venial, this does not mean they cannot be used in games or comics made by, for example, Virtue. It does mean, however, that Venial holds the rights to the character and what they say is canon.

After throwing his resume countless places, he finally got a bite. Only, it was for a job he didn't have any qualifications for. Since beggars can't be choosers, he ended up taking it, which stationed him in Pervatory. At first, he assumed it was a simple misspelling, but came to learn that no, in fact there was a place adjacent to Purgatory, called Pervatory. Going over the acceptance letter again, with a more attune attention to detail, Venial realized that his job was to collect information on the inhabitants and future inhabitants, which in this case meant more or less that he would be spying on people getting it on instead of doing an ecological survey like he previously thought. While Venial considered himself familiar gathering information, sexual situations were something that he did not have any experience with. Therefore, he was unsure how well he could get the job done. When he went to confront his boss, all they had to say was, What? The best way to get results is a virgin sacrifice!

Once he finally got into the groove of working, and got over his initial shock, Venial ran into yet another wrench in his plans. And that wench, I mean wrench, was named Virtue. Virtue, an angel, really had no business being in Pervatory to begin with, but when you think about it, neither did Venial. They were in neither hell, nor heaven after all, so as angel and a devil they had equal rights to exist. Nevertheless, Virtue was annoying. Unlike Venial, Virtue was, well, a slut. Which he was pretty sure was against code, but it wasn't in his right to play God. Constantly pestering him and sleeping with anything that moved besides him, Virtue made themselves out to be an interesting companion.

Speaking of an interesting companion, somewhere between their bickering an imp appeared, unfortunately for the imp, Virtue immediately named it Jizz, and thus Jizz was born. Since imps are known to act as loyal guides to one person, and this imp consisted of both angelic and devilish qualities, the duo couldn't help but assume the imp was made to guide the two of them somewhere. Even though Venial is convinced the imp is just a pervert, he is a means to an end, nonetheless. Not that he particularly enjoyed the imp-lications of being bound to Virtue by some sort of fate, but what else was he supposed to do. Currently he takes notes on what creatures are up to in hopes he will break the imp's curse on accident.
